Ooo la la! Bella Hadid looks sensational in elegant nude gown while Lily Donaldson don plunging black dress at the 69th Cannes Film Festival Opening Night gala premiere of Cafe Society

They are models that never fails to impress on the red carpet.

So it comes as no surprise that Bella Hadid and Lily Donaldson were dressed to impress as they arrived for the opening night gala during the 69th annual Cannes Film Festival in France on Wednesday.

Bella looked sensational in glamorous nude gown as she wowed on the red carpet for the premiere of Café Society at the Palais des Festivals et des Congrès.

The dark-haired beauty certainly made an impression as she arrived to the star-studded red carpet in a simply gorgeous cut-out gown by Roberto Cavalli.

Her slender frame was highlighted by the form-fitting dress which featured gold lace and bronze sequin detailing.

The 19-year-old accessorised with a statement silver choker by De Grisogono and an equally glitzy bracelet.

Her long dark locks were swept back into a simple ponytail while she highlighted her famous features with perfectly contoured cheeks and glowing highlighter.

The rising supermodel was accompanied by Fawaz Gruosi who helped the model to look picture perfect in his fashion house's elegant creation.

Bella was forced to stop and lean against her designer date when her dress became caught on the heel of her shoes, with the pair giggling together about the incident. 

Meanwhile, Lily put plenty of flesh on display in her revealing black dress as she swanned down the red carpet at the jam-packed premiere.

The 29-year-old drew attention to her modest cleavage in the low-cut gown which she teamed with a trendy black Atelier Swarovski choker.

Her blonde locks were styled into a simple up-do and she opted to go for a statement red lip while keeping the rest her make-up look delicate yet glamorous.

The Victoria's Secret model completed her ensemble with a daisy ring and a matching bracelet as she strutted down the red carpet ahead of her fellow models.

Former VS model Doutzen Kroes also chose to kick off her red carpet appearances at the film festival in a revealing black gown as showcased her enviable frame at the premiere.

The mother-of-two posed up a storm in the black dress which had a velvet top which connected to a flowing front-split skirt. 

She let the dress take full attention as she swept her hair into a chic half-up do and wore black heels.

The 31-year-old Dutch Frisan model's beautiful blue eyes were highlighted by bronze eyeshadow while she rocked a pretty pink lip.

The model beauties had all given a teasing glimpse of their looks as they left their luxury hotels to attend the premiere.

Cafe Society tells the story of a young man who arrives in Hollywood during the 1930s hoping to work in the film industry. There, he falls in love, and finds himself swept up in the vibrant café society that defined the spirit of the age. 

Blake Lively plays the character of Veronica in the movie and stars alongside Kristen Stewart, who plays Vonnie and Jesse Eisenberg, who plays Bobbie. It is slated for release on July 15 in the USA.

Australian director George Miller will lead the eight-member jury to preside over this year's competition.

The jury consists of Arnaud Desplechin, Kirsten Dunst, Valeria Golino, Mads Mikkelsen, László Nemes, Vanessa Paradis, Katayoon Shahabi and Donald Sutherland.

The Cannes film festival starts on Wednesday and runs until May 22.
