Cindy Crawford reminisces with old home videos as she gushes over husband Rande Gerber for giving her 'best birthday present ever' on her 55th

Cindy Crawford celebrated another trip around the sun over the weekend.

And the original supermodel appeared to be feeling the love, as she enjoyed her 55th birthday with family.

She reminisced with some old home videos Monday, as she gushed over husband Rande Gerber for giving her the 'best birthday present ever' in the form of a montage of their family over the years.

The 55-year-old shared the clip on Instagram, writing: 'Leave it to @randegerber to give me the best birthday present ever for my 55th.'

'Who's going fishing with me?' Rande, 58, asked at the beginning, as Cindy could be heard behind the camera, narrating: 'This is Rande practicing for fatherhood.'

It then showed some footage of the loved-up couple in the first year of their marriage back in 1998, as she said: 'We got married seven months ago. So yes, we're legal.'

'Everybody wants her, but we got her,' he said, as they laughed in bed, after he played some music for her baby bump.

The couple is parents to son Presley Walker, 21, and daughter Kaia Jordan, 19, who make appearances in the montage as children.

It showed them grow up from babies with glimpses of first steps, dance classes and family vacations, set to Chris Stapleton's Joy of My Life. 

'Happy birthday, I love you,' said a tiny Presley, as little Kaia told her mom: 'I love you. I wanna wish you a happy birthday. Woo-hoo!' 

Cindy recently talked to Red Magazine about parenthood: 'Parenting is the hardest and most rewarding job. Rande and I made our kids feel included. If we had friends over for dinner, they sat with us and I think that's served them well.'

She continued: 'They've always been comfortable being around older people and asking questions. What could I do better? Probably not offer help unless it's asked for.

'You want to do everything for your kids, but when I stand back and they come to me for advice, they're more likely to listen. When I offer it unsolicited, it just annoys them.'

The Fair Game actress also shared the secret to her successful marriage: '[It's] friendship. With my husband, I feel even if we weren't together, we'd be friends. 

'Of course, you have to have sexual chemistry, but our relationship is based on friendship and mutual respect.'
