Glenn Close is stylish in white tailored pantsuit as she's honored at Museum of Moving Image Salute

She's hoping for some awards season attention for her starring role in this year's big screen drama The Wife.
And on Monday, New York's Museum of the Moving Image helped keep Glenn Close at the forefront of people's minds by honoring the actress at the 32nd Annual Salute.
The fundraising event included a cocktail reception and dinner as well as a look back at the 71-year-old's career.
Close arrived to be feted in a stylish white pantsuit.
The tailored jacket had hidden buttons giving it clean lines and a raised collar.

She added a pair of pointed toe black heels and carried a white clutch purse with gold embroidery.
Her short blonde hair was blown out for volume and she accessorized with gorgeous pendant earrings.
The veteran star has been nominated six times for an Academy Award but has never won.
Five of those nominations came in her heyday in the 1980s, for her roles in The World According To Garp, The Big Chill, The Natural, Fatal Attraction and Dangerous Liaisons.
Her sixth Oscar nomination was in 2012 for her leading role as a woman pretending to be a man in order to get a job in a hotel in 19th century Dublin in Albert Nobbs.
In The Wife, she plays a long-married woman who finds herself re-evaluating her life as she travels to Stockholm, Sweden, with her husband, played by Jonathan Pryce, who is about to be presented with the Nobel Prize for Literature.
'I thought it was fascinating,' Close said of the story during a Hollywood Reporter Actress Roundtable.
'I had never been asked to play a character like that. But also, I had a lot of questions. I knew I'd have to answer those questions in order to play her, and the big one was, why didn't she leave him?'
'It was so much more complex than that, and I had to figure that out in order play her without any kind of judgment,' she explained.
Last month, she was the recipient of the Hollywood Actress Award at the Hollywood Film Awards for her performance.
