Ant McPartlin's estranged wife Lisa Armstrong perfects edgy look as she continues to bounce back from split

She was left broken-hearted when her husband Ant McPartlin called time on their 12-year marriage earlier this year. 

Yet Lisa Armstrong continued to look like a woman who was bouncing back as she cut a stylish figure while leaving her London home on Thursday morning.

The make-up artist, 41, appeared defiant as she held her head high and stepped out in the sunshine - just a day after wowing fans with a very glamorous selfie.

The beauty expert, who is currently working as the chief makeup artist and hair designer on Strictly for her 12th year, rocked a style that was both chic and fun as she headed out in the sunshine.

Lisa sported a sleeveless black T-shirt that boasted a sexy mesh insert across the decolletage, though she teamed the garment with a vest top to ensure her look was still demure. 

She dressed down the number with a pair of cropped jeans that featured a number of rips, while platform gold trainers added to her edgy outfit. 

Her make-up application was typically flawless, with Lisa opting for a natural, dewy look, while her funky lilac tresses were worn in a pin-straight, centre-parted style.  

Clearly not a woman who travels lightly, she carried her daytime essentials in a large handbag and completed her style with over-sized shades. 

Her outing came shortly after Lisa, who has littered her social media with heartbreaking posts about her divorce, used her online profile for happier subjects and shared a stunning selfie. 

The gorgeous shot, which showed Lisa highlighting her plump pout with a slick of red lipstick and glamming up in over-sized sunglasses, sent her fans wild.    

Shortly before posting the snap, Lisa revealed she's focusing on herself and her work following her bitter split from Ant. She admitted she's feeling great after taking time out to focus on her physical and mental well-being.

Revealing that she's dropped a stone in weight in recent weeks, she explained: 'I don't know what the hell happened. I haven't had a personal trainer or anything like that.

'It's all about being healthy and doing some exercise. You have to look after yourself as much as you can.'

After Ant filed for divorce Lisa took some time out in Los Angeles this summer, staying with her former Deuce bandmate Craig Young.

'I went on holiday to LA for five weeks and just hung out. I was chilling with my friend and enjoying myself. I feel great and I'm having a nice time...I take things day by day,' she revealed. 

Lisa was bouncing back to her best following reports she will donate some of her £31 million divorce settlement to a dog's charity. Sources told The Mirror that Lisa — who shares pooch Hurley with Ant — is said to want to help those who need looking after.

An insider explained: 'It's pretty likely that Lisa is going to get a hefty payment when her divorce with Ant is finalised. She has told pals she wants to give a large chunk of that money to a dog charity.    

Ant announced he had split from Lisa in a statement back in January following 12 years of marriage, but Lisa refused to put her name to it leading to what is reported to be a messy divorce with a rumoured £31million settlement.

Lisa has remained silent on the state of her love life, she was left brokenhearted when it was revealed he was dating their former friend and PA Anne-Marie Corbett, with whom he recently enjoyed a romantic holiday in Florence, Italy.
