Karen Gillan nails androgynous chic in longline blazer and stylish bell bottoms for Jimmy Kimmel appearance in LA

She recently returned as supervillan Nebula in the critically acclaimed film Avengers: Infinity War.

And Karen Gillan displayed her fashion-forward style for her Jimmy Kimmel Live appearance as part of Avengers Week on Wednesday afternoon. 

The Doctor Who star, 30, showed off her sartorial credentials as she donned a sophisticated suit, featuring a longline blazer with a chic polkadot collar.

The award-winning actress opted for a monochromatic look as she teamed her outfit with a plain white tee and black bell bottoms. 

Showcasing her trademark glamour, the Jumanji star added to her frame in a pair of pointed boots, while toting a quilted handbag.

Karen accentuated her stunning features with a sultry smokey eye, and styled her auburn locks into loose beach waves.

Taking to Instagram, the star shared a hilarious snap with a broom as her mother instructed Karen to clean the street shortly after her TV appearance.

In the caption, the Scotland-born beauty said: 'No better way to stay grounded than your Mother putting a brush in your hand and making you sweep the street right as you step out of the car that took you home from @jimmykimmellive.'

Karen joined co-stars Chris Hemsworth, Chadwick Boseman, Sebastian Stan and Josh Brolin on the late-night talk show as the group promoted the superhero film.

During the week dedicated to the action-packed film, Jimmy has interviewed an array of Avengers actors, including Mark Ruffalo, Danai Gurira, Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson and Zoe Saldana. 

Avengers: Infinity War - set to hit UK cinemas on Thursday - charts the battle of The Avengers and their superhero allies against the powerful Thanos.

Karen reprises her role of Nebula, who starts out as a alien super villain, from her time in the Guardians of the Galaxy and its sequel. 

The Guardians of the Galaxy star recently revealed how she fell in love with her character 'so much' after she invested into her backstory.

Of the role, she told website Gamespot: 'I love my character so much. I am so invested in her whole backstory, her whole relationship with her sister, the relationship with her father [Thanos] that we're definitely going to explore in the movies that are coming out soon, and so I think it all boils down to that. 

'I just feel so lucky that I got this character who, you know, was initially a villain, and then we started to learn more about her, and then our view as the audience, I think, changed toward her. 

'And she's just such a well written character that I feel like lots of people are getting invested in her along with me. And so I'm just so excited for everyone to see where she ends up.'
