Katy Perry dons royal purple and poses with Shannon Woodward at Westworld premiere

She is making $25 million to judge American Idol.

And Katy Perry opted for a queenly color when she swung by Westworld's season two premiere at Los Angeles' Cinemara Dome on Monday.

Katy, 33, buttoned herself into a royal purple pantsuit with slanted cuffs and posed alongside Shannon Woodward, one of the HBO show's stars.

The pop act's outfit was hemmed high enough to offer a full view of her ankle-strap open-toed stilettos, and its color complemented her pink hair.

Katy, who spent two years married to self-confessed sex addict Russell Brand, wore pale pink nail polish and a glistening necklace, and held a Louis Vuitton pocket book.

Meanwhile, Shannon, who is roughly two months Katy's junior, wore a cleavage-baring, sleeveless split black gown with sparkling embroidery.

She was glimpsed wearing a camel-colored coat over her outfit as she and Katy hobnobbed during the event, smiling and chatting.

Katy, who is not on Westworld, joined the newly resuscitated American Idol for its 16th and current season, which she judges with Lionel Richie and Luke Bryan.

She ignited a bit of controversy during an audition episode when she invited Benjamin Glaze to kiss her cheek, then without warning pecked him on the lips.

Benjamin, who was then 19 and was eliminated later that episode, told the New York Times that the kiss, his first ever, made him 'a tad bit uncomfortable.'

He explained: 'I wanted to save it for my first relationship. I wanted it to be special.'

Benjamin said that had Katy requested a kiss, he would have refused. 'I know a lot of guys would be like: "Heck yeah!" But for me, I was raised in a conservative family and I was uncomfortable immediately. I wanted my first kiss to be special.'

Chatter exploded online about whether Katy had crossed a line in the #MeToo climate, but Benjamin maintained in an Instagram statement that she had not.

'I am not complaining about the kiss from Katy Perry at all, doing a few news reports and being interviewed by many different reporters has caused some major questions,' he wrote.

Later in the caption, Benjamin added: 'I do not think I was sexually harassed by Katy Perry and I am thankful for the judges comments and critiques. I was uncomfortable in a sense of how I have never been kissed before and was not expecting it.'

Meanwhile, on this Monday's episode of American Idol, Katy accidentally tore her trousers open and melted into giggles at the wardrobe malfunction.
