Alison Hammond and Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson 'tie the knot' in spoof wedding with Kevin Hart officiating the ceremony... 207 days after actor 'proposed'

She has been vocal about her search for the perfect man.

And it looks like the hunt may be off for Alison Hammond as she 'tied the knot' with Dwayne 'The Rock' Johnson in a spoof wedding on This Morning.

The bubbly presenter, 42, who was famously presented with a mammoth diamond engagement ring by the 45-year-old former wrestler in May, turned up for her interview in a full white dress with veil and bouquet.

So committed to the cause was bride Alison that she had Dwayne's Jumanji co-star Kevin Hart, 38, ordained online so he could marry the pair. 

Despite the last-minute warning, the slightly shocked Hollywood heavyweight played along with the matrimonial proceedings after demanding a prenup last time they met.

Alison screamed 'I do' when asked if she wanted to wed the hunk although Kevin’s documentation is not legal in the UK - meaning the pair are not ‘actually’ married.' 

Kevin ended the service with: 'I’m so happy for you. You may kiss the bride!' before shedding a few tears.

Ever the gentleman, Dwayne told Alison she looked 'beautiful', held her hand during the ceremony and posed for some impromptu wedding snaps before the pair shared a cheeky kiss. 

Back in the studio, Phillip Schofield said: 'I’m gutted we weren’t invited!'

It was 207 days after The Rock had presented her with an engagement ‘rock’ that Alison had provided and asked him to marry her.

Following the nuptials it was back to the grindstone for Alison who delved into the pair's friendship. 

Dwayne said: 'I'd describe it as a manly bond, but he loves to describe it as an electric bromance. i don't understand that, he keeps knocking on my door at 2am in hotel rooms

Kevin laughed: 'It's a dude-ship.'

Speaking about Jumanji, Dwayne said: 'Seeing Kevin in this role he is the alpha, the leader of the school, he gets sucked into the game and has no strength, multiple weaknesses.
