Hailey Bieber looked like a modern-day Wonder Woman in her new ads for the summer campaign of YSL.
The 29-year-old supermodel posed in a blue-and-black one-piece swimsuit with gold bangle bracelets on both wrists as she placed her fists on her hips.
It is the classic pose that Lynda Carter made famous as Wonder Woman for the 1970s TV series, and, later, Gal Gadot adopted for her Wonder Woman movies.
Some fans were confused by the way Bieber stood with one YSL Instagram follower commenting, 'Why is she standing like that... I don't get it?' Another crudely joked, 'Where's the toilet, man?'
Then there was a follower that came to the model's defense: 'Notice how the haters are here before anybody else?? she’s really that girl…. Models have been posing like this for years now because it’s hailey y’all have something to say.'
This comes after the wife of Justin Bieber named her celebrity style heroes in the new issue of Interview magazine.

One is Rihanna, another is Claire Forlani in the Brad Pitt film Meet Joe Black.
And she also shared who the women are on her Pinterest page.
'I have a pin of Elle Macpherson, a pin of Amber Valletta, and a lot of Christy Turlington just for beauty inspo. There’s some Elizabeth Hurley on here, a lot of Bridget Hall,' she shared.
'Bridget Hall is somebody who I consistently, for the most part, have been told I look like, especially when I enhance my freckles, so she’s always on there.
'Then there’s some Julia Roberts from back in the ’90s. Some Sandra Bullock. Gisele,' added the star.
She also explained her motivation.
'When I make boards, I make them for the year. My 2026 board has style, hair, makeup, vibe inspiration, and some things I just feel inspired by,' she noted.
Bieber also gave a very frank rundown of New York versus Los Angeles, both cities she has lived in.
'I’m from New York so what I will say is that New York energetically is better than L.A.,' she began.
'Weather-wise, you can’t beat L.A. They both have bad traffic. New York is a little easier to maneuver with the subway and bikes, whereas in L.A. you’re confined to driving only.
'New York pizza and bagels sh** on L.A. and you can’t beat a New York deli. You’ll find a lot of good coffee in L.A., but you can walk into any deli in New York and just get a nice black coffee with cream and sugar and be happy. And then L.A. has better sushi.'
The runway queen finished her interview with advice to her fans: 'Take the risk. Even if you’re scared, try it. You don’t know unless you try.'
