Britney Spears is going after an ex-bodyguard who she alleges hacked into her personal devices and Apple iCloud account.
The singer's attorney sent a cease-and-desist letter to the security guard, named Thomas Bunbury, last month, according to TMZ.
Spears, 44, claims that Bunbury was able to access her devices and iCloud account without her authorization or consent.
Spears - who was recently seen for the first time following her DUI arrest - accused Bunbury of allegedly violating multiple state and federal laws and is threatening to report him to authorities and pursue charges.
The Toxic hitmaker asked Bunbury to delete any copies he may have made and requested to know whether he had shared any photos, files, or documents.
Bunbury was reportedly fired in August after allegedly breaching his NDA by communicating with fans and media outlets, sources told TMZ.

The alleged hacking reportedly took place after he was fired, with Spears being locked out of her accounts on a number of occasions.
On Sunday, the star was seen for the first time in public since her arrest in connection with suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and drugs in Newbury Park, California earlier this month.
Spears was pictured shopping at the Malibu Country Mart, stopping at a Starbucks while on the outing.
She donned a long brown coat with black sunglasses at the shopping center in the upscale Southern California area.
The recent picture of the Grammy-winning singer, who was arrested on the evening of March 4, was originally posted on the fan page BritneysVault.
The pop star was released from the Ventura County Jail following the incident, officials with the California Highway Patrol said.
Spears shared a worrying Instagram post before her DUI arrest. The star was seen looking disheveled while dancing in the living room of her Thousand Oaks, California, mansion. The singer even suffered a nip slip while in a low-cut purple leotard.
Later, her entire Instagram page was deleted just hours after she was released from jail.
The DUI incident began when a person reported an erratic driver in a black BMW 430i on the U.S. 101 freeway around the area bordering Ventura County and Los Angeles County, officials said.
The artist was the only person in the vehicle in the incident, in which she underwent a series of field sobriety tests.
The results of other chemical-related tests remained pending and a probe of the incident was ongoing, according to authorities.
Prosecutors with the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office have yet to announce whether Spears will face charges in connection with the arrest.
A May 4 court date has been slated to address the issue, with Spears expected to be present.
A representative for the Oops!... I Did It Again vocalist described the arrest in a statement as 'an unfortunate incident that [was] completely inexcusable.'
Spears 'is going to take the right steps and comply with the law' moving forward, her representative said, expressing wishes that the legal infraction would be a wake-up call for Spears.
The representative said that 'hopefully this can be the first step in long overdue change that needs to occur in Britney’s life.
'Hopefully, she can get the help and support she needs during this difficult time.'
The singer's two sons - Sean, 20, and Jayden, 19 - will 'be spending time with her' amid her recovery, her representative said.
Spears' representative said that 'her loved ones are going to come up with an overdue, needed plan to set her up for success for well-being.'
The entertainer's team 'wants her in rehab or a program to help her get to a better place,' an insider told US Weekly, adding that her conduct 'has been worse recently.'
'She has a lot of alone time at home which leads her to make bad choices like drinking. She’s at home now and Jayden is going to spend time with her to keep her company.'
Spears is 'very upset' about recent events, 'but doesn’t truly understand the implications yet,' said the insider.
