It comes after Jodie endured a freezing ice bath while on a retreat, where she practised breathing techniques and stress-busting exercises earlier this week.

Extreme athlete Wim Hof, creator of the method which has struck a chord with wellness-centric stars, claims exposure to the cold helps the body to heal.

‘Amazing day, can’t wait to do it again,’ Jodie says. Her survivalist antics will impress Bates, 36, who also braved the icy waters.

The model previously revealed returning to a quiet life in the countryside helped her 'curb' her anxiety' after quitting the modelling industry to to protect her mental health.

Jodie burst onto the fashion scene when she was just 16, after being spotted on a beach in Barbados by photographer Terry O'Neil, and fronted campaigns for the likes of Yves Saint Laurent and Chloe.

Three years after suffering a horrific panic attack during a catwalk at 19, Jodie quit the industry all together, eventually moving from London to her hometown in West Sussex.

She now lives near Kirdford with son Indio, 11, and told the Mirror that after going through some 'very dark times' she's managed to 'get on top of' her anxiety.

'Back then, no one really talked about mental health but now everyone's a lot more open about it, which is really important,' she said.

However the model had to take down her pub sign which shows her bare bottom after locals complained to the council over its 'inappropriate' nature.

A painting of the landlady showing off her behind was put up in front of the pub, replacing the old traditional image of a face in a crescent moon.

Jodie's pub was one of a dozen who had their signs undergo a racy makeover as part of the the Stella Artois: The Pub Renaissance campaign.

The saucy makeover at the West Sussex pub was in aid of raising money for charity however locals were unable to see the fun side of the sign.

Jodie told The Sun: 'Villagers thought it wasn't fitting for a 16th century pub to have an a*** hanging out. They complained and the council told us to take it down.

Jodie said: 'The campaign was there to raise money for people in the industry suffering as a result of rising energy bills. I was proud to be part of the campaign.

'If they didn't understand it was for charity and helping the hospitality industry, then I'm sure they were thinking 'why is our landlady getting her butt cheeks out? They must have thought 'she's gone completely mad'.
