'Couldn't care less!' Love Island Fans turn on Ron and Lana after his 'waffling' recoupling speech

Love Island fans turned on frontrunners Ron Hall and Lana Jenkins on Thursday, after the recoupling at the start of the episode. 

Some viewers were annoyed at Ron and how he went on during his recoupling speech - where he chose to be with Lana again - after their on-off romance. 

Fans flocked to Twitter, with one writing: 'Lana and Ron finally coupled up and I could not care less.'

Another shared a meme of a woman turning off a TV and said: 'Don't want to hear Ron's speech.'

'Now Ron and Lana are coupled up can we vote them out now,' another said. 

'Urghhhh get Ron the waffler off my screen please,' another said. 

'Just me that thinks Lana and Ron are back together because casa amor is coming,' one tweeted. 

During his recoupling speech, Ron said: 'I've decided to couple up with this girl because from the day I met her, I knew she was a special person.'

'She ticks every box for me. Our journey hasn't been easy in here, down to me making a few mistakes, but it's made us stronger.' 

Soon after the recoupling, the pair enjoyed their 'first date' with a romantic dinner by the pool. 

Tanyel Raven was dumped from the villa in emotional scenes after Jordan Odofin chose to recouple with Ellie Spence.

The recoupling result caused the islanders to break down in tears, with Tanyel's best pal Ron remarking how much he will miss her. 

Tanyel's exit comes after fans predicting her dumping after blaming Shaq Mohammned for planting seeds of doubt in Jordan's head about how she feels about him.

Taking to Twitter, fans wasted no time in expressing their fury over Tanyel's exit, with one remarking it was a big, huge mistake.

'Tanyel left too early. Such a pretty girl to watch on my screen' commented one watcher.

While another shared: 'As if tanyel is going home???? why is it always olivia’s victims.'

'I get Tanyel didn't have a romantic connection but neither did Ellie, and Tanyel brings so much in terms of vibes and friendships. Big mistake! HUGE!' ranted a third.
