Carol Vorderman, 61, flaunts her abs in a clinging crop top as she says she's 'loving' her time at fitness retreat in Portugal but is struggling with the heat

Carol Vorderman looked incredible as she showed off her toned abs while taking a break from her intense fitness programme in Portugal.     

The TV presenter, 61, who is currently staying at the exclusive Juice Master retreat took to her Instagram account to share the results of her hard work over the past seven days. 

Taking to her Instagram account on Wednesday, the former Countdown star told her followers how she was 'loving' her time at the resort - however, she was struggling to cope with the heat.

'Into week 2 here at @juicemasterretreats @jasonvale.....the vibe's kicked in now.....  loving it,' Carol began in the caption of her social media post. 

'So so hot here tho....Guess it's like at home. Nearly 40C every day which is way too hot for me BUT it's all good and cooling down in a few days.

'Most time spent on yoga, gym, swimming and paddleboarding and chilling out.

She concluded: 'BOOOMMMMM. SENDING LOVE BACK HOME X .'

Showing off the results of her dedication to the programme, Carol's slim waist was also evident as she donned a pair of Stronger high waisted leggings.   

The media personality was glowing as she went make-up free in the snaps and let her blonde hair fall over her face in a fuss-free tousled style.

She wore a pair of oversized leopard print sunglasses as she beamed for the fitness selfies.

The post comes after Carol flaunted her stunning curves in a stylish ensemble as she told her Instagram followers about a shopping trip last month.

The TV favourite looked incredible in skin-tight leopard-print leggings and a cropped white zip-up.

The smiling blonde beauty showed off her natural good looks as she flaunted a yellow Selfridges bag.

Keeping her fans in the loop, Carol wrote: 'She's always been a @officialselfridges girl...Just bought an iPhone 13....hopefully picture quality improves from the usual tat I put out...'

Elsewhere, the maths whiz on took to her Instagram Stories the following day as she documented her voyage as she set off for Portugal.

The star filmed herself at Heathrow airport, looking chic and travel ready in a khaki button-up ensemble. 

Carol enjoyed some tea at the terminal and then posted a selfie from Portugal, looking to be in full holiday mode in some shades.

She had her platinum blonde tresses down in relaxed waves. 

'Landed. Excited,' she penned.
