Miley Cyrus enjoys trip out to LA studio with boyfriend Maxx Morando as she dons magic mushroom tie-dye sweater

She is enjoying a hot new romance with musician Maxx Morando.

So no doubt Miley Cyrus is feeling magical.

The 29-year-old pop megastar was seen leaving a studio in Los Angeles with her drummer beau - who currently plays drums for the band Liily and previously played with the Regrettes - on Monday.

She dressed for comfort on the trip out as she sported a pink and yellow tie-dyed sweater with a magic mushroom graphic printed on the front of it.

The 29-year-old teamed the colorful top with a pair of cropped light blue jeans and pink patterned slip-on sneakers as she carried along a black tote bag.

Her platinum blonde locks were put up in a messy bun as she showed off her natural looks by going make-up free.

Maxx donned a white tank top tucked into matching jeans and black suede Adidas Superstar sneakers. 

Although the songstress' relationship seems to be going better than ever, her bliss comes after her mother Tish Cyrus filed for divorce from Miley's father Billy Ray Cyrus. 

She was seen in Los Angeles last week without her wedding ring, though she had what appeared to be a ring-shaped tattoo on her finger in its place.

Miley and Maxx were most recently seen enjoying a holiday in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, in February where they were spotted lounging around their hotel by the sea while showing off plenty of PDA.

The new couple appear to have first been caught on camera on November 2, when they walked the red carpet together at the Gucci Love Parade fashion show in Los Angeles. 

Although they were seen holding hands, it wasn't until December, when DailyMail.com obtained photos of Miley and Maxx kissing from her balcony in Miami Beach on New Year's Eve, that their relationship came into focus.

Later that night, she hosted her Miley’s New Year’s Eve Party special for NBC and its streaming service Peacock, with Saturday Night Live star Pete Davidson joining her to co-host. 

Although they haven't been afraid to take their budding relationship public, neither Miley nor Maxx appear to have commented about their status. 

Although the drums seem to be Maxx's primary focus, he can also play guitar and other instruments.

He also appears to work as a cartoonist, and his Instagram page includes some examples of his colorful designs, which are seemingly influenced by Takashi Murakami's iconic images.

Miley seems to have first hinted at their connection even prior to their red carpet debut with a September 2021 Vogue interview about her haute couture festival ensembles.

She described her boyfriend as one of her 'favorite emerging artists,' and she noted how designer Shane Kastl had incorporated some of Maxx's illustrations into his designs.

It's unclear if the two had begun their romantic relationship at the time she was praising his illustration work. 

Even prior to making their red carpet debut in November, Miley and Maxx had been rumored to be together back in July of 2021.

At the time, they had been spotted getting cozy in Nashville, not far from her home in Manchester, Tennessee. 

The Hannah Montana star has kept her dating life relatively low-key since ending her relationship with Australian singer Cody Simpson.

The former couple, who had been friends for years before they began dating, began their relationship in October of 2019, but it had fizzled out by August 2020. 

Prior to turning her friendship with Cody into a relationship, Miley's most intense partnership was with her on–off boyfriend Liam Hemsworth, who later became her husband. 

The couple began dating in 2009, when they starred together in the romance The Last Song, and after some time apart they announced they were engaged in May 2012, though they had called it off by September of the following year. 

The couple gave their relationship another shot and  married at their home near Nashville just days before Christmas in 2018, but they had separated by August 2019, and Liam filed for divorce less than two weeks later.

Following the end of her marriage, Miley famously had a brief fling with Kaitlynn Carter in August and September 2019.
