Relationships were put to the test on Monday's Married At First Sight, when the brides and grooms met their 'alternate' love interests.
The grass is greener challenge saw the remaining grooms and brides head off to separate lunch dates, where each group was joined by each participant's second closest match.
The episode began with a surprising twist – the mending of fences between former rivals Bec Zacharia and Gia Fleur.
Gia said that the pair bonded over their shared and similar experiences with their grooms Danny Hewitt and Scott McCristal.
Then it was time to see if the grass was greener, though the grooms were certainly not pleased with the challenge, with Scott slamming the exercise as 'ridiculous'.
David Momoh also expressed his disdain for the exercise, revealing that he did not want to be there.

While fellow groom Danny Hewitt told the pair to treat the lunch as a 'business meeting', it quickly became too much for Scott and David.
Upon meeting their 'almost matches' - Scott paired with brunette Laura, and David matched with Crystal – Scott made his apologies and left the table to go to the bathroom.
David soon followed, and the pair justified their decision to leave the table to each other as they hid out in the men's room.
'I'm going to be very clear, I felt sick. The only reason I sat down is because I wanted to say to Laura: "Thanks for coming",' Scott said, and David quickly agreed.
Admitting that he was fearful Alissa would hit it off with her new match, David said his main concern was repairing his relationship with his wife.
'I'm having issues with my missus and the only thing I'm thinking about right now is to get back to her and mend it.'
It was a different story at the other table, with Alissa seemingly very taken with her beach sprinter beau Connor.
After a few flirty exchanges and chats about star signs, Alissa told Connor he was the 'opposite' of David who she described as boring.
She also admitted to only being 'seventy per cent' sure that her relationship with David would survive past final vows.
'I felt like we had a bit of fun and a bit of banter today,' she said.
'It has made me realise even more now I'm lacking in these areas in my relationship.'
Bec Zacharia also appeared quite smitten with her boxer beau Taylor, and couldn't resist at taking a not-so-subtle swipe at Danny.
'My husband looks like Connor McGregor but he's Temu... he's Kmart Connor.'
When Taylor asked Bec what she looked for in a man, she took the chance to take another dig at Danny.
'Someone who probably wanted to f*** me,' she said.
He replied: 'So I've come at the right time then,' to which Bec replied: 'exactly'.
Bec continued: 'My husband and I hardly have any sex so I just think he's not into me, but he won't say it.'
However, Bec then told producers that Taylor did not stack up against Danny, adding the exercise made her appreciate her husband more.
However, Danny was impressed by the poise and 'calm energy' his alternate partner Chenelle displayed during the outing.
Gia Fleur also took the opportunity to vent about Scott to her substitute suitor James.
'You came in at the right time,' she told James, referencing the couple's recent relationship roadblocks.
'I do everything. I cook for him, I clean for him, I'm his f***ing wife. I told him that I'm in love with him – he hasn't said it back, which has been p***ing me off.'
James cheekily replied: 'You should have been matched with me then. Gia's met her husband now so it doesn't matter, you don't need to go back to him.'
Gia was impressed with James' take-charge attitude, and was seen, more than once, staring into his eyes.
'James comes in very hot. If I was single, yeah, I would eat that up.'
Gia wasted no time getting down to brass tacks, asking James about his financial situation.
'I only date men that pay for everything,' she said. 'Like, I kind of want to be, like a trophy wife. That's my vibe.' He replied: 'Let's get married then.'
James' efforts did have an effect on Gia who revealed to producers: 'I definitely got a bit flustered.'
James definitely did not come just for the scintillating conversation, as he began trying to talk Gia out of her marriage with Scott.
'I can wait another year if I have to,' he told Gia who replied: 'I'm done in a week,' before admitting that she would date James 'in the real world.'
This emboldened James who then proceeded to write down his number for Gia, who initially refused.
However, she did not protest when her new 'bestie' Bec took the number to give to Gia at a later date.
Married at First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Nine.
