A burst water main at Sydney Airport caused chaos, delaying flights and frustrating hundreds of passengers Thursday morning.
Terminal three, run by Qantas, was hit with widespread power outage which delayed flights for up to three hours and left people waiting in queues 200 metres long, Nine News reported.
'The T3 terminal is operated independently by Qantas, however we are trying to ascertain when power may be restored,' the airport said in a tweet.

A passenger said she received a text message three hours after arriving at the airport, slamming the airline for what she believed was poor organisation.
Another woman tweeted and pleaded with the airline to improve its communication with customers.
'Hey Qantas - please - how about some #communications to passengers about your power outage since 8am cancelling and delaying flights? #CustomerService,' she wrote.

The power had been partially restored by mid day, according to a Qantas spokesperson.
'Qantas' Sydney Domestic Terminal experienced a power outage this morning. Power has been partially restored and flights continue to operate,' they said.
'We have technicians on site and we'd like to thank our customers for their patience.'
