'If I believed in hell Bill Cosby would be going there': Lena Dunham leads celebrity reaction to Bill Cosby's sexual assault charges

Lena Dunham, Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow led the celebrity reaction to Bill Cosby being charged with sexual assault on Wednesday.
Cosby, 78, appeared in court accused of drugging and sexually assaulting Andrea Constand in January 2004 at his mansion in Philadelphia.
The comedian looked frail, stumbling as he arrived at court on Wednesday, with his attorney Monique Pressley claiming he is now 'blind'.
Actress and director Lena Dunham was one of a handful of stars tweeting about the charges, saying: 'If I believed in hell Bill Cosby would be going there.'
Director Judd Apatow wrote: 'Bill Cosby has spent his life attempting to silence the women he has assaulted with threats, lawsuits and money.
'Hopefully now many of these women will get to tell their stories in a court of law and the people who supported him will get deposed.'
Amy Schumer, Mia Farrow and her activist son Ronan were also among those tweeting about the charges.
Cosby is yet to plead but has previously denied all allegations.
