Savannah Chrisley issues heartbreaking tribute to dad Todd as he celebrates another birthday behind bars

Savannah Chrisley has paid an emotional tribute to dad Todd Chrisley as he celebrates his 56th birthday behind bars, stating that she will 'never' stop fighting for his freedom.
Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley were both convicted of fraud and tax evasion in 2022. He is serving a 12-year sentence while his other half, 52, has been jailed for seven years.
On Sunday, reality star Savannah, 27, marked her dad's birthday – the third one without him – with a series of throwback photos and videos.
Taking to Instagram, she penned: 'Here's to another trip around the sun, Daddy… It's so hard to believe this is the third birthday we've spent apart. Every year that passes without you home feels like another piece of my heart is missing.
'I can't help but think back to all the birthday adventures we've shared over the years… every laugh, every hug, every surprise.
'Celebrating you has always been one of my life's greatest joys… one of my greatest adventures.'
Savannah said that the past three years without her father have felt 'frozen in time.'
'You're three years older since you left home… and those are three years we've lost,' she continued.

'Three years of memories we'll never get to make. Three years of heartbreak that time can never give back.
'But Daddy, I want you to know this… I will NEVER stop fighting for you.
'I will NEVER stop telling the world who you are and what you mean to us.
'You are so much more than the walls that surround you. You are strength. You are love. You are home. And you ARE my best friend.'
Concluding her post, Savannah added: 'I love you to the moon and back. And always remember… You are my sunshine.'
After a sensational trial, Todd and Julie were ultimately found guilty of 12 counts of conspiracy, bank fraud, wire fraud, and tax evasion in 2022, and were sentenced to 12 and seven years behind bars respectively.
Both Todd and Julie have maintained their innocence and have since launched numerous appeal against their verdicts.
In February, Savannah's brother Chase broke his silence his parents' arrest, insisting that their family was 'targeted' and that the system is 'corrupt and broken.'

In an explosive interview with DailyMail.com, he insisted that their family will continue to 'fight' until they get justice for his parents.
He said: 'The government dismantled our entire lives. But my dad didn't raise us to be weak, they picked the wrong family if they think that we're not going to fight until we win,' he stated. 'Losing is not an option in an aspect of life.'
He revealed that their family is 'as close as they've ever been,' adding, 'This hasn't affected my relationship with my mom and dad at all because I know the truth.
The former reality star admitted that prison life has been 'hard' for his parents, who are in two different facilities, leaving them unable to communicate with one another.
'It's been hard for them. I mean, you go from the lifestyle that they were living to being in prison... It's very unfortunate and the circumstances suck,' shared Chase.
'As far as the conditions go, they're terrible. There's black mold... and it's just scary. It's scary for us, and I'm sure it's scary for them.'
