Natasha Lyonne looks dreamy in white ensemble for the cover of LA Confidential... as she shares about her struggles with addiction
Natasha Lyonne is riding the wave of success with her role on Orange Is The New Black, and most recently as co-creator and star of the recent hit Netflix series Russian Doll.
But it hasn't always been a smooth ride for the 40-year-old actress.
In an interview for Modern Luxury's July LA Confidential, the cover girl gets real and talks about her struggles with addiction and how actress and longtime friend Chloe Sevigny helped her through some dark times on her path to sobriety.

Lyonne is the picture of retro glamour and beauty, with a modern twist, for the magazine's cover shot.
Dressed in a stylish white ensemble that resembled the styles of the roaring 1920s, the New York City native looks relaxed while laying back on a white-patterned lounge chair.
Stylists added to her old-school screen siren look by having her ginger tresses styled in a curly shoulder-length bob and a part on the slight left.

Dark times: Lyonne suffered through heroin addiction and a number of health scares by 2005
It took a lot of hard work and soul searching for Lyonne to find her inner beauty and reclaim her career in Hollywood.
After a series of teen roles, that included Slums Of Beverly Hills and American Pie, the actress slowly began to spiral downwards.
By 2005, she developed a heroin addiction and had a number of serious health scares, including a collapsed lung and hepatitis C.
'That period does kind of contextualize a lot of things in terms of my point of view today and the way I had to reconfigure myself in order to become a member of the living,' she confessed in the LA Confidential interview.
Triumphant return! The actress, 40, resurrected her career with her role on Orange Is The New Black beginning in 2013
It was Sevigny who stepped in on countless occasions to help Lyonne get and stay sober. Lyonne called her the 'one consistent figure who stood with me through the ‘before’ chapter.'
'In my early days of getting clean, Chloe would show up in an oversize Morrissey T-shirt just to make sure I would leave the house,' she revealed about her friend of over 20 years.
'We'd go to the beach. She'd peel off into a bikini. I'd be in eight layers of black, smoking a cigarette going, ‘I'm outside in sunlight, OK? What more do you want from me?’
With the help of Sevigny, who sometimes had to vouch for her ability to show up for longer projects, Lyonne saw her career resurrected with her role on OITNB in 2013.
In her latest Netflix hit, Russian Doll, she plays a woman who repeatedly dies and relives the same night in an ongoing time loop.
