Speaking to the magazine, Christian admitted: 'I've now taken it upon myself to become the best damn gay I can be!'
He added: 'It's taken me a while to really celebrate my own sexual identity.'
Earlier this month, he shared a birthday tribute to his boyfriend on Instagram.
