Zachery Ty Bryan's ex sentenced after trying to run him over as she pleads guilty to DUI while he faces his own legal woes

Zachery Ty Bryan's ex-fiancée Johnnie Cartwright has been sentenced after trying to run him over in November.

Cartwright, 32, pleaded guilty to DUI and reckless driving misdemeanors while in court in Oregon on Wednesday, per Us Weekly.

According to the outlet, a charge of recklessly endangering another person was dismissed.

Her sentence includes 24 months of probation for each of the two guilty pleas and a $1,500 fine.

Cartwright's driver's license has also been suspended for a year, and she must use an ignition interlock device once the license is restored.

Additionally, she must complete a Quantitative Risk Assessment and other programs, or she could face another 20 days of jail time for the DUI, and another 10 days for the reckless driving charge.

In addition to the $1,500 fine, she must pay a $255 fee for the DUI conviction.

Cartwright, who shares three children with Bryan, 44, will pay her fine and DUI fee in $50 monthly increments beginning on March 1.

She is prohibited from possessing or consuming alcohol, as well as visiting any retailer where booze is the main item kept or sold.

According to Us Weekly, her attorney described Bryan, 44, as her 'ex-partner' and said his client depends on him financially.

Speaking on her behalf, the legal rep said about Cartwright: 'She’s living with her mother and still is able to have custody of the children. She’s looking forward to continuing on the progress that she’s been able to make while she’s been on free trial.

'She’s not drinking alcohol at this time either, so she’s wanting to continue on with her sobriety.'

Before her sentencing, the mom-of-three told the judge, 'Divine intervention, I guess. I’m just here to take accountability, and everything happens for a reason. Me and the girls are doing great, and I’m just hoping to continue on to keep the separation from the father.'

Cartwright landed behind bars last November after trying to run the former child star over with their three young children inside the vehicle.

According to Lane County Sheriff’s Office records reviewed by Daily Mail, the incident unfolded in Eugene, Oregon, on November 29, when both Bryan and Cartwright were arrested.

Police said the then-engaged couple had been driving with their children when Bryan exited the pickup truck and began walking down the road.

Authorities alleged Cartwright then attempted to strike him with the vehicle, crashing into a ditch.

Both parties were taken into custody, with officers noting that the actor was in violation of a court order requiring him to stay away from Cartwright.

In mid December a judge denied Cartwright’s request to modify her pretrial release after Us Weekly confirmed a warrant had been issued for her arrest over alleged violations tied to the incident.

Police added that 'Bryan was able to move out of the way and avoid injury' despite the fact that both he and his fiancée 'were impaired,' adding that 'no one inside the pickup was injured.'

Authorities said in their report: 'After additional investigation, Cartwright was arrested for Attempted Assault in the 1st Degree, three counts of Recklessly Endangering and DUI.

'Bryan was arrested for a probation violation on an original charge of Assault in the 4th Degree. The involved children were placed with a family member.'
