Chelsea Handler confessed she might need to take a closer look at what's in her medicine cabinet, after having no idea she was taking the diabetes drug Ozempic.
While appearing on Alex Cooper's hit podcast, Call Her Daddy, on Wednesday, the comedian, 47, claimed not to know she was taking the once-weekly injection for adults with type 2 diabetes.
The TV host, who revealed that she developed cardiomyopathy last February due to stress, went on to joke that her doctor 'just hands' out the medication to 'anybody' looking to 'drop five pounds.'

'I came back from a vacation and I injected myself with it. I went to lunch with a girlfriend a few days later, and she was like, 'I'm not really eating anything. I'm so nauseous, I'm on Ozempic,' she recalled.
Then Handler noted that she was 'kind of nauseous too,' but chalked up the feeling to jetlag after a month-long vacation in Spain.
'White privilege,' she mused.

Handler's pal then asked whether she was 'sure' she wasn't on Ozempic, to which she responded: 'I'm on Semaglutide.'
'That's Ozempic,' her friend explained.
The Chelsea Lately alum then described the injectable prescription drug, which has been dubbed Hollywood's new secret to weight loss, as a 'miracle' and 'too good to be true.'
'I'm not on it anymore,' she stated. 'I'm an irresponsible drug user, but I'm not gonna take a diabetic drug. I tried it, and I'm not gonna do that. That's not for me. That's not right for me'
