The chemistry is strong between Islanders Ron and Lana, with the pair even being dubbed the 'power couple' on Love Island this week. 

And on the hit show on Wednesday, viewers couldn't help but notice how close the pair have become in a matter of days. 

Fans flocked to Twitter, with some saying they're acting like a 'married couple' already and mocking them for acting like they've known each other for years.

'Ron and Lana acting like a married couple after two days, it's giving Andrew and Tasha,' one fan tweeted with a chihuahua emoji. 

Another added: 'Ron and Lana are gonna be that couple who are basically gonna be like a married couple from day 1. But he likes her more than she does him and she's going to get frustrated at some point.' 

'Ron has only known Lana for two days, why is he moving like this?' another said.

However, some Love Island fans seem to love the budding couple.

'Hmmm Lana and Ron r becoming myy fave couple,' one person tweeted.

Another added: 'Manifesting Lana and Ron work out.' 

However, things were thrown into a spin when stunning new contestant Zara asked Ron out on a date via a text. 

Lana appeared a little jealous and nervous when she heard the news.

On the date, Ron mentioned to Zara how he's close to Lana, saying: 'Yep, I'm coupled up with Lana, she's sweet and cute.'

But he added: 'You're making it hard for me, I have some thinking to do!'

    He later told the guys in the villa that Zara is ' just ticking boxes, everything I want to hear'.

    When Lana met Zara for the first time, she quipped: 'Omg Zara is stunning, really nice, but she's annoying!'

    Love Island airs at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
