Former WAG Kyly Clarke has celebrated her daughter Kelsey's seventh birthday this week with an intimate gathering filled with presents, cake and balloons.

Kyly, 41, shared a gallery of sweet photos to Instagram from the special occasion and praised the 'gorgeous and angelic' daughter she shares with cricketer Michael Clarke.

One heartwarming photo showed Kyly posing alongside her daughter with both beaming as Kelsey unwrapped her presents.

Kyly captioned the snaps with some sweet words: 'The worlds biggest Happy 7th Birthday to my Bella.'

'I couldn’t have wished for a better gift than the one I was given seven years ago which was you.'

Many of Kyly's 67,000 followers were quick to wish the pair a happy day.

One fan gushed Kelsey was 'so lucky' to have Kyly as a mother while another wished the pair 'the best day ever'.

Kyly and Michael, 41, share custody of their daughter and have been on good terms since their split in February 2020 after seven years of marriage.

Despite their very public break-up, the high school sweethearts only have good things to say about each other as they work together to co-parent Kelsey.

In an interview with Now To Love in December, the former Australian cricket captain revealed Kelsey was a good mix of both her parents.

'She's a terror like me,' Michael laughed, before adding: 'I think she's got her mother's features, certainly her kind-hearted personality.'

Michael went on to explain Kelsey enjoys spending quality time with both parents after their separation.
