Kate Langbroek shares 'apology' letter from Moby 17 years after he accused her of 'exploiting' her baby daughter by taking her backstage on Rove
Kate Langbroek has shared an 'apology' letter from American singer Moby 17 years after he accused her of 'exploiting' her baby daughter.
In 2005, Kate took her daughter Sunday backstage during her appearance on Rove McManus' talk show.
Moby was the next guest to appear on the show and took a swipe at Kate by saying: 'like that woman that was exploiting her child'.

On Thursday's KIIS FM's 3PM Pick Up, Kate shared the bizarre apology letter Moby sent to her one day after the incident.
'Hi, first let me apologise for what I said on the Rowe show. I spoke out of term and for that I apologise. What concerned me to speak up is my concern for children that are thrust into the public eye by celebrity parents,' the letter began.
'A few years ago, I was watching an award show and Will Smith took his son onto the stage with him to accept an award.'

He went on to say: 'I understand a parents desire to share things with their children but I worry about it from the child's perspective.'
'I worry about children being seen by millions of people because all it takes is one kidnapper or one peadophile to see a child on television and get terrible ideas.'
Moby continued: 'I just think parents should stay on side of caution and not expose their children to potential risk.'

Kate admitted she wasn't impressed with the apology and said: '[I am] the opposite of someone exploiting their child. I'm in fact a woman who doesn't leave her child at home in the care of others.'
'I'm a woman who, if I go to work I take my child with me because she's a baby and that's where she belongs.'
'Not everyone makes that choice, that's fine, that's my choice. But for that bald and at that point barren a**hole to come on the show and say that, it was so shocking that it sent quite a shockwave.'
