Sydney Sweeney was missing from a Euphoria group photo after Zendaya 'refused to stand next to her' amid their 'bitter feud'.
Back in November 2025, the Daily Mail revealed that Zendaya, 29, was refusing to do press calls with her co-star for the upcoming third season.
We also reported that the reason why they were refusing to refusing to stand near each other at events was because of their different political views.
And now in the teaser for the third season of Euphoria, Sydney is missing from the group shot at the start.
American teen drama Euphoria, based on Ron Leshem and Daphna Levin's series of the same name, became a huge hit after it premiered on HBO in 2019.
It was shortly followed by a second season in 2022 and now fans are eagerly waiting for series three to drop – which comes out next month.

The programme follows the crazy lives of a group of girlfriends and what they get up to as wild, sex-obsessed teenagers.
HBO recently teased what to expect with a new promo social media video on X and TikTok with the caption: 'Taking the smallest moments and dreaming them up into something bigger. #Euphoria'.
At the start of the clip, Zendaya, Hunter Schafer, Alexa Demie and Maude Apatow can be seen cosied up to each other on set and giggling as they pose for pictures.
However, their co-star Sydney is nowhere to be seen in that shot.
This didn't go unnoticed by fans and many flocked to the comments section to point it out.
'Notice how Sydney wasn’t in the group photo.'
'perioddd Sydney didn't make the group photo.'
'notice who ain’t there.'
Many rushed to social media to share their shock at the fact that Sydney was nowhere to be seen in the teaser
'Missing the Queen sydney.'
'Sidney not being in the group photo.'
'lmao zendaya said NO promo with sydney and she meant it.'
'Notice how Sydney is the only girl not with them.'
'Sydney too booked and busy to be around.'
'wtf, Euphoria S3 promo lookin fire but where tf is Sydney Sweeney?? They leavin her out on purpose or sum drama brewin with Zendaya?'
'Sidney Sweeney excluded.'
'Hummm where's Sydney.'
The trailer for season three was released back in January.
While fans are undoubtedly overjoyed to see the return of the controversial series, some viewers have been left outraged to see the character of Cassie, played by Sydney Sweeney, now working as an OnlyFans model.
The new season, which features a significant five-year time jump, sees Cassie engaged to high school sweetheart Nate (Jacob Elordi), despite her X-rated gig on OnlyFans.
'I work all day, and my bride-to-be is spreadeagled on the internet,' Nate complains in one scene.
The OnlyFans storyline has upset some longtime fans of the series, who are upset by the 'oversexualisation' of the show's female characters.
Other storylines in the new season include Rue, played by Zendaya, being on the run from drug dealers in Mexico.
Meanwhile Maddy (Alexa Demie) is in Hollywood working at a talent agency while growing frustrated that every other girl she meets in Los Angeles 'is a sugar baby'.
Spanish pop sensation Rosalia also has a racy role in the new season, playing a pole-dancing stripper.
Other newcomers to the cast for season three include Natasha Lyonne, Danielle Deadwyler, Eli Roth, Marshawn Lynch, and Trisha Paytas.
Original Euphoria stars Maude Apatow and Hunter Schafer are also back.
In December, Euphoria creator and showrunner Sam Levinson promised that season three would be 'our best season yet'.
Explaining the time jump, he told Variety, 'Five years felt like a natural place because if they’d gone to college they’d be out of college at that time.'
He continued, 'We basically pick up Rue south of the border in Mexico, in debt to Laurie, trying to come up with some very innovative ways to pay it off.
'And then Cassie is living in the suburbs with Nate, they’re engaged and she’s very addicted to social media and envious of what appears to be the big lives that all of her high school classmates are living at this point in time.'
He also said that fans will get to see Nate and Cassie get married and teased a huge guest role from none other than Sharon Stone.
'Lexi is an assistant to a showrunner played by Sharon Stone, who is just absolutely delightful and a true icon,' he gushed.
Euphoria season three will be released on HBO and Max on April 12, 2026.
Filming for the series started back in February 2025.
The programme was created and written by Sam Levinson.
Euphoria airs on HBO and is available to stream on Sky and NOW in the UK.
