The Voice coach Jessica Mauboy was overcome with emotion when she turned around to see her niece Saraya Mauboy-Hudson on stage during Tuesday's episode.
But while the 17-year-old delivered a powerful performance of Rihanna's Stay, fans watching at home were divided about her being allowed to appear on the show.
'She goes with Rita and wins The Voice 2021! No need to see the grand finale, folks!' one fan tweeted, in reference to Guy Sebastian's brother winning last year's season.

Many cynical viewers said Saraya's victory was a foregone conclusion because of her family ties to Jessica.
'Saraya chooses... @RitaOra! OMG. Did Rita just get the winner on her team?' one fan tweeted during the episode.
Others argued they didn't think it was right for Saraya to be allowed to audition.
'I wish this show would stop letting family and friends enter. I don't know any other competition that allows it,' one frustrated viewer wrote.

'More bloody nepotism with Mauboy's niece on this year. We had Guy's brother last year. Pathetic,' a second commented.
'I guess The Voice is there to launch the careers of the judges' family members,' a third added.
Jessica was visibly emotional when she saw her niece on stage at the blind auditions.

'Oh, my god!' Jessica said in disbelief, after turning her chair halfway through the young singer's performance.
'What's going on? What's happening?' asked fellow coach Rita Ora.
'Hey, Raya!' Jess said through tears, which prompted Rita to ask: 'Do you guys know each other?'
'Yeah, she’s my niece,' replied the Little Things star.

'No wonder she can sing like that,' Rita said as she comforted an emotional Jessica.
'I don't think it's fair to have someone you're related to on The Voice,' joked Guy, whose brother Chris Sebastian controversially won the series last year.
