Tommy Lee 'wants to make peace' with son Brandon... but the DA might 'still prosecute' the 21-year-old for battery against his dad

Former Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee reportedly 'wants to make peace' with his son Brandon Thomas after filing battery charges against the 21-year-old Next Model following an 'alcohol-fueled' fight on March 5.

Brandon admitted to People earlier this month that he gave the 55-year-old glam metal rocker a fat lip and 'knocked him unconscious' in 'self-defense' as 'a result of my father's alcoholism.'

Brandon was angry after the thrice-divorced father-of-two tweeted on March 5 about his mother Pamela Anderson doing a 'pathetic' interview with Piers Morgan and signing it '"the abuser" who she texts everyday & asks for me back.'

But Lee (born Bass) softened after seeing his son 'sweetly' tell TMZ on Monday night outside West Hollywood hotspot Craig's that he wanted to reconcile: 'Of course, man, I love my dad. I just want to be happy.'

It might be too late as the battery case will soon be sent to the district attorney's office where they still have the authority to prosecute Brandon.

Tommy - who was convicted of felony spousal batter on her in 1998 - previously tweeted that he's 'happier' than he's been his entire life with fiancée Brittany Furlan, and he does not need any alcoholic intervention.

The 31-year-old former Vine star - who got him into therapy - tweeted a snap of a fresh gardenia the Greek-born musician placed on her pillow Friday morning and gushed: 'Ladies, the good ones are out there, trust me!'

The electro-house DJ popped the question to the much younger Pennsylvania-born actress six weeks ago after an eight-month romance.

Meanwhile, Tommy and 50-year-old Pamela are also parents to aspiring musician son Dylan, 20.
