She came into the Celebrity Big Brother house in a long-term relationship.

Yet Stephanie Davis will be leaving the Channel 5 fly-on-the-wall show on Friday with a flourishing new romance and a firm case of the ex. 

The 22-year-old former Hollyoaks actress was left in a state of shock, in scenes which will air on Thursday night's episode, when she is informed that her ex-boyfriend Sam Reece was allegedly 'cashing in on their relationship' on the outside world.

The finalists were thrown into a press conference task this week, which sees both viewers and stars visit the residence to discuss the storylines from within the house.

One of the main focus points of the series has been Stephanie's love triangle, which has seen her become embroiled in an intimate friendship with tattooed model Jeremy McConnell. 

Audiences have been left rapt with the blooming romance, due to the fact Stephanie has been in a relationship with model Sam for over a year.

During the press conference task, the stunning star confirmed her relationship had turned toxic prior to entering the house and she had already ‘lost the love’.

After her candid confession, audience members then told the confused star that her model beau has been 'cashing in on her'.

Former housemate Megan McKenna then revealed to Stephanie that she has done a public appearance in the same club as Sam - after which she blasted the hunky model, tweeting: 'When you do a Pa and someone's 'ex' boyfriend and there tag team thinks there A listers'.

After she heard the conclusion of the press conference, a stunned Stephanie hit out at the claims and aimed her outraged comments at the camera and seemingly Sam, saying: 'Lap up the money! Have a good time! I have found someone now who genuinely cares about my heart.'

The Liverpudlian actress was taken aside by her Ex On The Beach star pal at the end of the task and Megan informs her that Sam revealed he 'wants to talk to her' when she is out.

The pretty star then appeared to lash out at her ex-boyfriend's humble means as she said: 'Well he could never take me to dinner so perhaps he can now take a girl to dinner!'

Stephanie's dramatic love affair has become an extremely colourful tale from both inside the house and on the outside world. 

Sam has been plagued with cheating allegations, while Stephanie has candidly embarked on a developing romance with hunky Jeremy in front of the camera.
