'20 years old does not seem real. You are the gentle giant, affectionate, kind, smart and funny and so so big now!!!

'I Love being your Mom, you are everything I wanted and I love you so much I want you to have everything good that this world has to offer and that you want

'Stay Brave, Stay Curious you are More then Enough, you are Everything… still my baby to me until you are 21 though so “where are you?! Still applies !kissing monster kisses'

Her post comes after she opened up on her darkest moments that made her want to 'shut the world out' and how her adopted children gave her 'a reason to live'.

When asked if it was one of the most difficult moments in her life, the singer told The Mirror: 'Oh, it was hard to breathe.

I wanted to curl up in a ball and shut the world out – so perhaps it's only natural those thoughts come back to haunt you, later.

'The day I adopted my kids I had a reason to live. It's not the British way to talk about things. When people asked how I was, I'd say, "Oh, I'm fine".

'You're too scared to say, well, as a matter of fact, I've just lost a child – in case people are horrified.

'Nowadays, it's different because people are prepared to discuss mental health. They are more understanding that we don't all live perfect lives.'

She also recalled the moment she picked Magdalena and Zac up and took them home, which she said was 'strange' and 'surreal'.

Sinitta burst onto the scene in 1986 with the hit single So Macho which reached number two in the UK charts and spent seven weeks in the top 10.
