Abbey Clancy and Peter Crouch recalled their disastrous first date at a local pub during Thursday's episode of This Morning.
The model, 37, revealed how she the former footballer, 41, who lived like a student, look 'vulnerable and needed a little makeover' in the funny confession.
Speaking with hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield, the couple giggled on the sofa as they discussed the moment Peter made Abbey a drink.

She exclaimed: 'He took me to the pub and made me buy a drink - never bought a drink in my life!'
'You only had £7 in your pocket didn't you?' questioned Phil as he laughed.
Peter explained: 'On that first date, I wasn't making her buy a drink by the way,' he cleared up, before adding that she had offered.'

'She came back with a pint and a tap water, it's because she didn't have enough money on her!' he continued.
'He has no bedding on, and an odd pillow case!' Abbey fired back.
Peter confirmed: 'My mates were students at university, I was just doing that, I had nothing else.'
'He looked a little vulnerable, needed a little makeover,' the model added, as she joked that she 'liked a project' and fancied him before she met him.

The couple, who married in 2011, later spoke about when they renewed their wedding vows in a 'beautiful' ceremony on the beach in the Maldives over Christmas.
Peter said: 'She is the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. Of course I'm a lucky man, it was a beautiful occasion to have with the kids there.'
'The first time I could enjoy the party,' Abbey added.
The model wore a stunning sheer vintage lace dress and veil made by her dressmaker friend Silvia, with former footballer Peter saying he got 'butterflies' when he saw his wife walk down the aisle.

The ceremony took place on December 17 in front of their four children, Abbey's mum Karen and friends on a private island at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort.
'We started as a young couple together, and now here we are with our four kids walking us down the aisle. I feel like the luckiest person on earth,' Abbey told Hello! Magazine.
'We were going to renew our vows on our ten-year anniversary, but with lockdown, we couldn’t do it… Pete’s quite romantic at heart; he has definitely earned himself brownie points for the next few years.'
Peter gushed: 'Abbey looked incredible, and even after 11 years, I still got butterflies when she walked down the aisle, it was a stunning island, but Ab stole the show – I’m a lucky man.'
