Harriet Alexander is a senior features writer who joined DailyMail in 2020, leaving for The Times before returning in 2025. She covers general news, politics and culture. She previously spent 12 years as a foreign correspondent for The Daily Telegraph, reporting from almost 50 countries worldwide and covering everything from the Arab Spring to Hurricane Maria, Amazon deforestation and the Oscars. She has interviewed a range of world leaders and famous faces including Tom Hanks, Meryl Streep, Bill Gates and the presidents of Mexico, Turkey and Colombia.
