Boozy whipped cream, mushroom lattes and hot sauce: Can YOU match the celebrity to their random side-hustle?

Awards and acting credits are no longer the priorities for stars who have reached the dizzying heights of A-list celebrity status.

In fact once they've conquered the stage or the screen, stars from Brad Pitt to Rihanna have only one goal in mind - to start their own business.

The number of A-lister businesses has grown almost exponentially in the last few years with stars putting their names and faces from everything to food, alcohol, haircare brands and clothes.

Celebrity endorsements are nothing new but in the past two decades, brands have become big business with stars personally pumping money in to new ventures.

Some, including Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop, Selena Gomez's Rare Beauty and George Clooney's tequila have been wildly successful while others have faded in to obscurity.

Blake Lively's lifestyle platform Preserve closed down in 2015 after just one year and Jay Z's plans for a hotel chain in 2008 failed to materialise.

And while many celebrities choose to go down the road of lifestyle and beauty, other high-profile celebrities have started up some interesting and bizarre side hustles but can you guess which star started which business?

Mushroom lattes? The brainchild of... Ellie Goulding!

The British singer has been taking the stage by storm since 2009 and is one of the most successful female singers of the 21st century - even performing at the Prince and Princess of Wales's wedding

As well as working on her latest album, the musician, 38, is now working on Everystate and previously told The Times she was interested in setting up a side hustle because she can't make as much through touring as she once could.

As a recent convert to wellness and health, Ellie joked that her venture is 'un-rock'n'roll' but confessed that she's been interested in 'functional mushrooms' for a little while now.

She explained she initially took interest in the superfood in lockdown and now credits it with improving her health and helping with her anxiety.

Everystate offers online subscriptions for £36 a month or for a one-off month's supply for £45 and officially launched in April.

Each delivery includes 20g of powdered mushroom - enough for four weeks and mixed in with some milk, make the perfect mushroom latte.

5. Ed Sheeran

Think red head - think Tingly Ted.

This hot sauce brand is owned by singer Ed Sheran who launched it in 2023 - the product of two years worth of development.

Rather than launching the brand on his own, Ed teamed up with condiment giant, Heinz, to release his hot sauces.

The £3 sauce has recently had a new addition to the collection including the hottest sauce yet which contains bell pepper, jalapeno, ginger, yellow habenero and 0.2 per cent Carolina Reaper, one of the world's hottest peppers.

The Tingly Ted range came from Ed's love of ketchup and comes in two strengths, Tingly and Xtra Tingly. It's billed as the perfect pair for fries, nuggets, falafels and fried chicken.

The thick sauce has fresh lemon highlights and a smoky flavour that makes the red jalapeno and capsicum chillies stand out and is suitable for vegans.

And Ed is such a fan, he even carries it around with him on the road, keeping a bottle stashed in his suitcase at all times.

You might be forgiven for thinking rapper and country singer Post Malone's tipple of choice is a classic smoky whisky.

But it turns out the Rockstar singer, 29, is a fan of rosé and even travelled out the the vineyards of France to see the wine-making process himself before opting to film his Saint-Tropez music video there.

He told Wine Enthusiast that his aim with Maison No.9 was to great an affordable and delicious wine that everyone could enjoy.

'Rosé is for when you want to get a little fancy', is the mission statement of the brand, which Post Malone founded in 2019.
