In Kathy Griffin's new memoir, Kathy Griffin's Celebrity Run-Ins, she boasts of her collection of celeb encounters, including meeting Jon Hamm and Jack Nicholson at a party in which Hamm told her that her Emmy 'isn't a real Emmy', and a run-in with hard-partying Harry Styles, who she says she saw corner superstar actor Tom Hanks at a party to talk about his many films. She also discusses her relationship with pop star Demi Lovato, who she claims unleashed a 'thirty-million strong' army of fans against her on Twitter. Griffin had hurled a few 'comedic insults' in her act at Lovato, who had been repeatedly rude to her at celebrity events. Fans tweeted rape threats at Griffin while one threatened to 'kill you in your sleep'. Meanwhile, Cher is one of Griffin's closer showbiz friends.
