Thursday night saw relationships rattled when hidden clips aired from the villa in the Movie Night challenge.

And Friday night's instalment of Love Island will see Jake Cornish, 24, attempt to win back Liberty Poole, 21, after she saw him question their sexual attraction.

'You're my future!' insists the water engineer as he tries his best to reassure his girlfriend, who is visibly upset.

Liberty is left questioning Jake after revelations from movie night, and they sit outside on a couch to discuss what has happened.

Reassuring Liberty, Jake says: 'You're my girlfriend. I want to take you home to my family. You're my future.'

In the clip, he said: 'I haven't got it where I'm like, I want to rip her clothes off.'

Watching the clip, Liberty said: 'What does that mean, he doesn't think I'm fit?'

'It was early days,' the girls said, trying to reassure her.

Speaking in the Beach Hut, Liberty said: 'To hear that coming from your partner, I don't know if that fancy attraction is there, it is brutal.'

During his turn in the Beach Hut, Jake seemed to predict an awkward conversation with Liberty about the clip as he said: 'I'm not in a good position at the moment.'

Love Island continues at 9pm on ITV2 and ITV Hub, with previous episodes available on ITV Hub and added to BritBox the following morning.
