Sarah Paulson and Cate Blanchett join forces to talk up their series Mrs America about the Equal Rights Amendment movement in the 70s
Their new show features a stellar cast of women and tells a little-known story concerning women's rights and the Equal Rights Amendment movement in the Seventies.
Award-winning actresses Cate Blanchett and Sarah Paulson were on hand Thursday at the at The Langham Huntington hotel in Pasadena, California to discuss their new FX series, Mrs America.
They were part of a panel speaking about the show during the FX segment of the 2020 Winter TCA Tour.

Blanchett, 50, was pretty in a matching black and white polka-dotted pantsuit and blouse set, which she paired with dynamite electric blue leather boots.
The Australian-born two-time Oscar winner wore her blond hair in a short bob.
Paulson, 45, looked summery in a blue and white striped blouse with beaded poofy sleeves, and a white linen skirt.
The Emmy and Golden Globe winner wore her freshly highlighted brown hair in a sleep style tucked behind her ears.

The duo were joined by just some of their esteemed costars for the panel, including Elizabeth Banks, talented character actress Margo Martindale, Uzo Aduba of Orange Is The New Black, comedy legend Tracey Ullman and John Slattery from Mad Men.
Dahvi Waller, the creator, executive producer and writer of the FX on Hulu limited series, discussed the show, which tells the story of a conservative activist (played by Blanchett) who led an unexpected fight against the ERA movement.
Paulson plays Alice, a composite character drawn from the time.

The show also stars Ari Graynor, Rose Byrne, Melanie Lynskey, James Marsden and Niecy Nash of Claws fame.
Blanchett, who is also executive producing, takes on her first series regular role in an American television series with Mrs. America.
The nine-episode show will premiere its first three episodes on Wednesday, April 15 on FX on Hulu.
