The Green sisters' gongs! Jennifer Aniston and her Friends on-screen siblings Reese Witherspoon and Christina Applegate are ALL nominated for Golden Globes
They played the selfish and often-vacuous Green sisters on Friends.
Yet Jennifer Aniston, Reese Witherspoon and Christina Applegate, who played Rachel, Jill and Amy respectively, proved there is more to them in real life than on-screen as they scooped a number of Golden Globe nominations on Monday.
The show lead, 50, and Reese, 43, both received nods for their roles in Apple TV's The Morning Show and Christina, 48, for the Netflix dark comedy Dead to Me.

Jennifer has received her first Golden Globe nomination in four years - the last time she was nominated was in 2015 for Cake.
She was singled out for her work on the Apple TV+ series The Morning Show, with the star mentioned in the Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Drama category, with Reese up for the same gong.
Jennifer's Golden Globe past includes nominations in 2002 and 2003 for Friends; she won in 2003. And in 2015 she was acknowledges for her film Cake. The LA native has won an Emmy awards for Friends and was nominated for 30 Rock.
Christina meanwhile is up for Best Performance by an Actress in a Television Series – Musical or Drama for her role in the hit show.

During the promo trail for The Morning Show, Jennifer and Reese have been discussing their role on Friends, which was a huge hit with fans.
Back on the show, Reese appeared as Rachel's sister, Jill. The two clashed when Jill decided that she wanted to go on a date with Ross, played by David Schwimmer.
The scene between the two actresses was so funny, that they recently reenacted it while on their press tour. 'You can't have Ross,' Aniston says reciting her old line. 'Can't have? Can't have?! The only thing I can't have is dairy.'

The Golden Globes are voted by the Hollywood Foreign Press Association. The Golden Globes ceremony celebrates its 77th year in 2020 and the nominations were streamed on the official Facebook page and on the Golden Globes website.
The awards will take place at the Beverly Hills Hilton and will air on Sunday, January 5 on NBC at 8pm ET.
