'There's a waiting list': Dino Hira reveals he's teaching prisoners how to meditate following his stint on Married At First Sight

He failed to find romance with 'wife' Melissa Lucarelli on Married At First Sight.

But Dino Hira has discovered joy by teaching prisoners how to meditate following his stint on the controversial Channel Nine show.

Taking to Instagram on Monday, the 35-year-old posed in front of a Perth prison while gushing over his new purpose.

'I look forward to Mondays when I am in Perth, as I never knew the fulfillment I would feel each time walking out of the Prison behind me, volunteering time to facilitate Mindfulness Meditation sessions!' he began writing in the caption.

'This opportunity came to me after leaving the MAFS experiment and I always believe when one door closes another will open,' he added.

'This door that opened gave me the ability to feel enriched and content knowing that the sessions are making a positive difference to groups that maybe overlooked by society.'

'What is being witnessed since I first started is reduction in anger, hostility and decreased anxiousness and depression,' he penned.

'I believe in using time wisely as it is one thing we cannot buy back so I choose to spend time on activities that advance my overall purpose.'

Dino's exit from the reality show on March 3 was surrounded by controversy.

The reality personality was busted secretly recording his 'wife' Mel on the phone to her sister days earlier - much to her shock.

'I wanted to show Mel that the words were hurtful and it wasn't easy for me to take,' explained Dino, when asked about the recordings during their final episode.
