Sarah Paulson, 43, and Holland Taylor, 75, were special guests at the Literacy Partners Gala in NYC on Wednesday night.  

The couple showed nothing but love for each other as they walked the red carpet arm in arm. 

Literacy Partners, a non-profit that operates in the five boroughs of NYC, assists adults in further developing their reading and English language skills.

Both women were dressed to the nines for the lit event in the Big Apple.

Sarah, who donned a gorgeous velvet Ulla Johnson jumpsuit, rocked a red lip and a pair of sensible black heels. 

While Holland was modestly dressed in a grey ensemble that she paired with a floral scarf and a matching clutch.

Paulson and Taylor were both asked to speak at the gala.

The American Horror Story star performed a reading from The Goldfinch—which is currently being turned into a motion picture in which Sarah is starring. 

Holland later got up on stage to remember Liz Smith—an author and gossip columnist who passed away in November.

The pair, who have been together since 2015, have garnered quite a bit of attention due to their age difference. 

'My life choices are, um, unconventional,' she told NET-A-PORTER’s digital magazine,The EDIT. 'I’m with a much older person and people find that totally fascinating and odd, and, to me, it’s the least interesting thing about me. But I do feel a bit unconventional.' 

She added: 'I am a woman of a certain age who chose not to have children, and who has made my career my priority. I am the captain of my own ship, and I’ve never looked to anyone else to validate that, or tell me it’s okay.'
