But it appears former Bachelor Matthew 'Matty J' Johnson, 30, has all but confirmed it will be chiseled-chested firefighter Cam Cranley, 28.

Speaking to Now to Love on Friday, Matty J said he's sure that Channel Ten producers have locked a new hunk in for this year's season by now.

'I'm thinking surely by now they've got the person locked in. If I had to put money on someone it would be Cam Cranley from my season,' the Bondi-based former Bachelor said.
'He's someone that's kind and considerate and ready to fall in love but also, he's a bit of a dreamboat to look at as well. He's a handsome young man.'

It isn't a stretch for firefighter Cam to be named as the newest hunky love-seeking single, with his megawatt smile and boy-next-door good looks already gaining him a legion of followers.

Looking back on his own experience, which saw him find love with current girlfriend Laura Byrne, fitness fanatic Matty says it's important to 'be yourself,' despite the hype of the show.

Matty, who recently scored a new job as guest presenter on Channel Ten's The Living Room, added it was important not to dwell on the emotional side of the show.
Meanwhile, this isn't the first time Cam has been named as the possible pick for the top rating reality show.
On Thursday, he sparked speculation he is the next Bachelor when he jetted into Sydney.

More recently, he was snapped canoodling with Dutch contestant Florence Alexandra Sophia at the Coogee Pavilion on Friday.
The pair were both attending the Cosmopolitan and Tinder Bachelor of the Year Awards.
