Ride another day! Pierce Brosnan, wife Keely and model son Dylan, 19, get on their bikes in Malibu

It was gray and drizzly day in usually sunny Malibu, California, on Tuesday but that didn't deter the Brosnan family from taking a beachside bike ride.

Former 007 star Pierce, wife Keely and son Dylan, 19, were suitably dressed for their outing in warm clothes but this being LA, they all three wore their sunglasses despite the cloudy skies.

It probably felt quite warm to the actor, though, as he's back on the west coast after being photographed in a very cold London a few days ago filming scenes for his new thriller The Foreigner.

Pierce, 62, has quit the hair dye and grown out his beard for the role in the movie that's being directed by his Goldeneye director Martin Campbell.

The greying star kept a peaked cap pulled down over his head as he cycled wearing a padded rain jacket and grey cotton pants with hiking boots.

Keely, 52, who wed Pierce in 2001, had on a large turtleneck maroon sweater and black leggings while Dylan, a model, wore a denim jacket and dark jeans with brown shoes.

Dylan, who celebrated his 19th birthday just last week, was discovered by Saint Laurent creative director Hedi Slimlane on the beach in Malibu in summer 2013.

She was reportedly unaware of Dylan's familial connection with Brosnan but thought that he was the perfect fit for the campaign. 

Pierce and former entertainment reporter Keely also share another son Paris, who turns 15 next month.

The Mamma Mia star was previously married to Australian actress Cassandra Harris, with whom he had sons Chris, 42, and Sean, 32.

The couple's daughter Charlotte lost her battle with ovarian cancer in 2013 at the age of just 42.

In his latest project, Pierce stars opposite Jackie Chan, who plays a restaurant owner in London's Chinatown who embarks on a one-man mission to track down a group of rogue Irish terrorists responsible for the death of his daughter.

Brosnan plays former IRA member turned government official Liam Hennessy in the action thriller set for release later this year.
