They both put on a striking sartorial display on the red carpet at the Emmy's a few weeks ago.

And on Saturday night Sarah Paulson and Amanda Peet put their most fashionable feet forward at the 13th Annual Gala in the Garden held at the Hammer Museum in Los Angeles. 

Sarah, 40 - one of the stars of the hit drama, American Horror Story - lived-up to her on-screen gothic roles by donning a chic, black and white, multi-panelled dress.

Teaming the garment with a pair of towering black heels, the actress added some height to her petite frame.

Wearing her blonde locks in a sweeping and sharp fringe, the star - who plays Sally in the latest AHS series, 'Hotel' - showcased her striking features.

Meanwhile Amanda - who is married to David Benioff - cut an equally striking in an A-line, layered lace number, which perfectly complemented Sarah's frock.

Wearing her brunette locks scraped back into a loose ponytail, the brunette beauty accentuated her features with a pale pallet of make-up, which she off-set with a bright flash of scarlet lipstick.

Other famous faces at the event included Julia Roberts, Salma Hayek, Selma Blaire and Diane Keaton.

The famous actresses were just a few of the many famous Hollywood faces who attended the gallery's event, which was held in aid of supporting the Hammer's acclaimed exhibitions and free public program.
