A hero emerges! Arrow star Stephen Amell arrives in New York for WWE SummerSlam dressed like his TV character
Stephen Amell arrived in New York City on Sunday, prepared to do battle at the WWE wrestling SummerSlam event that night.
When he arrived at Laguardia Airport, the 34-year-old Arrow star already looked the part, offering a scowl as he headed to a car.
The actor even wore a dark-coloured hooded sweatshirt reminiscent of his costume on his Arrow TV show.

Heroic arrival: Arrow star Stephen Amell arrived in New York City on Sunday, heading to the WWE SummerSlam event in Brooklyn
His light brown hair completely hidden underneath a baseball cap and the hood of a black sweatshirt, Stephen's face was only just visible.
He had significant stubble on his face, shading into a light beard at the chin.
For a top, the actor had a pale brown T-shirt underneath that sweatshirt, sporting a stylized leaf as a front design.
Unusual job: Although technically just an actor playing the superhero role of Oliver Queen - aka the Green Arrow - Stephen was there for a wrestling match
Characteristic clothing: Even at Laguardia Airport, Stephen had an Arrow look about him, thanks to a hooded sweatshirt and green-tinted clothing
Costume: On Arrow, Stephen's character of Oliver Queen wears a green costume with a hood when he fights crime
Olive green trousers and black shoes completed the actor's look as he headed toward the wrestling ring with all of his luggage.
Once at the event, Stephen changed from Arrow-style clothes into a full-on Green Arrow costume.
He entered the ring paired with pro wrestler Neville in order to take on Stardust and King Barrett, a pair that seemed to have an advantage early on in the match.
Rivalry: Stephen was there to settle a grudge match with pro wrestler Stardust after several months of social-media taunts
Stephen, however, put to good use the superhero skills he has used playing Oliver Queen and got his revenge on the evil wrestlers after he climbed onto ropes to survey his opponents outside the ring.
In a rather impressive move for a man who is actually an actor and not really a superhero, Stephen launched himself onto Stardust and the King from above.

Winners: After a tough start, Stephen and his wrestling partner Neville emerged victorious
Those two knocked down, Neville finished the job.
Afterwards, Stephen posted a photo of his own back to Twitter to show some significant bruises and abrasions and offered only a simple caption: 'Worth it.'
Stephen will return to television for the upcoming fourth season of Arrow on October 7.
'Worth it': After the match was over, Stephen tweeted a photo of his bruised and battered back
