Dark past of security guard who left young Chappell Roan fan in tears... and his history of A-list humiliations
The bodyguard who confronted Jude Law's 11-year-old daughter on Saturday is the same security aide who was fired by Kim Kardashian after she was robbed in Paris in 2016, the Daily Mail has exclusively learned.
Sources said Pascal Duvier, 53, 'aggressively' confronted Ada Law while she was having breakfast with her mother at the five-star Palácio Tangará hotel in São Paulo, Brazil and wandered past the table where Chappell Roan was sitting.
No surprise then that Duvier, who is actually Sabrina Carpenter's bodyguard, was at first mistaken for the Pink Pony Girl’s security man by Ada's father.
The altercation had left Ada in floods of tears.
Duvier previously worked for the Kardashians and was in charge of their security when the infamous jewel heist – which saw Kim robbed of an estimated $10 million – took place.
At the time, the musclebound heavy had been at a nightclub with Kim's sisters Kourtney and Kendall, which left the Keeping Up With The Kardashians mainstay vulnerable.
The security guard was sued by the reality star's insurance company over the incident and eventually settled the lawsuit in 2020

Duvier was working as Sabrina Carpenter's security guard in São Paulo last weekend when he was mistaken for Chappell Roan's bodyguard and he allegedly confronted Jude Law's 11-year-old daughter
The little girl was at the hotel with her mother Catherine Harding and the pair had been planning to attend Roan's performance at the Lollapalooza music festival as a birthday treat for Ada.
But, according to a social media post written by Ada's irate stepfather, soccer star Jorginho Frello, 34, the outing was junked after Duvier waded in.
Jorginho, who previously played for Premier League heavyweights Arsenal and Chelsea, said the confrontation came after Ada had wandered past the table where Roan was having breakfast.
The midfielder said his stepdaughter did a double take to make sure it was the singer – who is famous for her heavy drag-style make-up – before walking back to her own table.
It was there that towering Duvier confronted the mother and the little girl – leaving Ada 'extremely shaken' and in floods of tears.
Harding, 34, and Ada were also staying at the hotel and had planned to watch Roan's performance, with Jorginho posting a photo of the little girl's handmade fan art celebrating the singer.

Duvier, a German-born judo expert, is said to have reprimanded the little girl, leaving her 'extremely shaken' and in tears
London-born Harding also addressed the altercation in a social media post late on Sunday night and acknowledged Roan has denied personally sending Duvier to intervene.
According to Harding, the incident 'ruined' Ada's birthday treat after Duvier chose to 'berate and scold' the mother-daughter pair with a 'very aggressive tone'.
Harding added: 'For me, I feel like if she [Roan] really didn't send him, [the security guard] overstepped a boundary because he is quite an intimidating [man].'
The mom-of-two also claimed Duvier had told her that her daughter was 'badly educated' and had threatened to file a complaint with the hotel.
Chappell Roan later took to Instagram to publicly apologize to Jude Law's daughter as she insisted she did not ask any security guard to approach her hours after her team were accused of leaving the young fan in tears
Duvier is best known for being Kim Kardashian and Kanye West's longtime bodyguard. The famous pair decided to part ways with him in November, 2016
The fallout from the altercation has seen Roan banned from performing in Rio de Janeiro – where Jorginho now plies his trade for Brazilian Série A club Flamengo – by the city's mayor Eduardo Cavaliere.
In a statement shared on X, Cavaliere slammed what he assumed was the singer's behavior and wrote that 'as long as I'm in charge of our city – this young lady @ChappellRoan will never perform at Todo Mundo No Rio'.
He added: 'I doubt that Shakira would do that! By the way, @FrelloJorginho, your little one is already the guest of honor from the organization in May!'
Roan has denied sending Duvier to confront Ada and has publicly apologized. Her rep insists that 'Duvier was not Chappell Roan’s personal security in South America.'
The Daily Mail has contacted Duvier for comment. He later confirmed in a social media post that was not not working for Roan.
