Lily Allen has joked that 'murder may have crossed my mind recently' at a London event, amid her recent separation from Stranger Things actor David Harbour.
The Daily Telegraph reported that the 'audience cheered with wicked delight' when Lily made the remark at the first live show of Miss Me?, the hit podcast she co-hosts with childhood friend Miquita Oliver.
During the Q&A section of the hit show, Lily advised an audience member that marriage is 'a contract, which is very difficult to get out of… and very painful'.
The sold-out event, held at Hackney Empire, marked the first anniversary of the duo's unfiltered podcast, which has developed a devoted following.
It comes after Lily revealed her £8K-a-week trauma centre stay inspired her to get a tattoo about 'accepting pain' after her estranged husband moved on with new girlfriend Ellie Fallon.
Lily, 39, and Miquita, 40, have known each other since childhood, growing up together in West London thanks to the friendship between their mothers, broadcaster Andi Oliver and producer Alison Owen.

While the Smile singer relocated to Brooklyn in 2020 after marrying Mr Harbour, Ms Oliver, a TV presenter, remained in the UK.
The live show was an unpredictable mix of nostalgia, gossip and no-holds-barred discussion.
From cocaine-fuelled parties at the Groucho Club with Lily's father, Keith Allen, to teenage run-ins with the law, no topic was off-limits.
But the evening was not without its tensions.
When Miquita asked if they should share a story about the time she betrayed one of Lily's deepest secrets—an incident that led to an 18-month silence between them—Lily swiftly shut it down: 'Absolutely not.'
The pair's honesty was back when answering audience questions on sex, with the Alfie hitmaker candidly admitting: 'I love being called a good girl. I've got daddy issues.'
The evening ended with a game of pass the parcel that saw an audience member win a 'sex stool' in honour of Miquita's favourite piece of bedroom furniture.

The duo will return to the stage for a second show on Friday night, this time with their parents in the audience.
Last night Lily was seen stepping out with a male companion in London's Notting Hill, weeks after opening up about her painful divorce.
The singer, who ended her marriage to David in December after discovering he was using the celebrity dating app Raya, appeared in good spirits as she chatted with him friend following dinner at an upmarket eatery.
The companion bore an uncanny resemblance to her first husband, Sam Cooper, 47, whom she divorced in 2018 after seven years of marriage.
