EXCLUSIVE: Married At First Sight star Selin Mengu debuts her $55,000 smile transformation in before and after photos

She may not have found love on Married at First Sight, but Selin Mengu has walked away from the experience with a million-dollar smile.

The executive assistant, 33, recently underwent a dental makeover worth $55,000.

Selin told Daily Mail Australia she couldn't be happier with the results after having her teeth fixed at Vogue Dental Studios in Melbourne.

Before and after photos show her dramatic smile transformation, which the mother of one says has helped her overcome years of insecurity.

'I've always wanted a glowing smile and straight teeth, so it would have been silly not to have them done,' she said of her veneers.

'A smile to me is the most attractive thing, and I think teeth are important for that, so I wanted to have that perfect smile because I love it on others.'

Dentist-to-the-stars Dr Deepan Duraisamy, a.k.a. Dr Dee, said Selin 'wanted a Hollywood smile that enhanced her original smile'. 

Her original teeth were damaged and stained from previous fillings.

Dr Dee previously told Daily Mail Australia 'it's always a privilege' to help his famous patients at Vogue Dental Studios.

The celebrity dentists' other notable clients include Jessika Power, Nick Furphy, Timm Hanly and Carlin Sterritt.

It comes Brent Vitiello announced last week he wouldn't be getting porcelain veneers like many of his fellow brides and grooms, and would instead try to 'fix what God gave me' by getting Invisalign braces.
