It may have been aimed at children but the Jim Henson series with his madcap Muppets was truly a show for all ages, for the whole world, and it remains one of the most brilliant pieces of variety television ever to have graced our screens.
The majority of the original series is available, and it's packed with highlights - don't miss Elton John and Miss Piggy attempting to out-diva each other, Mark Hamill joining the Pigs in Space and Kermit's heartfelt rendition of Bein' Green. Disney+ is also home to some of 21st Century TV's attempts to update the Muppets - The Muppets, Muppets Now - but this easily remains the best. (Five series)
