Married At First Sight saw a second couple become engaged during Final Vows on Tuesday night.

Filip Gregov, 37, got down on one knee to propose to Stella Mickunaite, 32, who gave him a resounding 'yes'.

The last MAFS groom to propose at Final Vows was Cameron Merchant, who asked his TV bride Jules Robinson to marry him for real during season six in 2019.

The couple walked down the aisle in November 2019, and now have two children together.

Stella and Filip are set for a similar fate, after discussing their plans to start a family - after they plan their real-life wedding, that is.

And fans tuning in on Tuesday were delighted with the couple's fairy-tale ending.

'For a bunch of cynical, but very sharp observers of human behaviour, we still do love a love story,' wrote one person on X.

Another said: 'Congratulations Stella and Filip. Good to see true love exists in this crazy world.'

'So Stella got her prince - so happy. Shows you when you ignore Western extreme gender conflict narratives- happy endings can still be found,' one more said.

Someone else posted: 'All the mean girls got dumped in the end in front of the entire country and Stella got her fairy-tale ending.'

One more commented: 'Seeing Stella and Filip get actually engaged for real was so beautiful.'

'Perfect ending. Gia, Alissa and Bec got dumped and Stella got proposed to,' another wrote.

Given their status as the series' 'golden couple', it was pretty much a given that Stella and Filip would leave the experiment together.

However, Filip went one step further by presenting Stella with a very impressive diamond sparkler.

'I have never wanted to move somewhere for someone, but now I realise home is wherever you are,' he said.

'Being with you is like nothing I've ever felt before. I see our future so vividly – a family, a home and a beautiful life together.'

He added: 'Stella, I love you more than I ever thought possible, and have never felt more certain of anything.

'I know what my heart wants.'

Filip's sweet words would be enough to have even the most cynical person swooning, however, he then went above and beyond by getting down on one knee.

He could barely get the words 'will you marry me' out before Stella embraced him and kissed him romantically.

As they became lost in the moment, Filip then broke off the kiss to get an answer from Stella.

'Wait a minute, hang on. Will you marry me?' he asked again to which Stella replied with an enthusiastic 'yes'.

Stella, still processing what just happened added, 'I can't believe this. I feel like I'm having an out of body experience.'
