The vile secret text that bride Bec Zacharia wrote about Alissa Fay was finally exposed on Monday's Married At First Sight.

The drama almost exploded during Sunday night's commitment ceremony when the offending messages were almost shared with the couples and experts.

Juliette Chae, who was sent the incriminating group chat exchange by Gia Fleur, threatened to share the messages in an attempt to expose Bec.

While the texts did not see the light of day, before her shock exit, Juliette threw one final cat among the pigeons, by sending the offending messages to Alissa.

The episode saw a shocked Alissa and her groom David Momoh, lying in bed, reacting to Bec's vile invective.

'I can tell you right now, that what I just read was f***ing disgusting,' Alissa said.

'I'm actually pretty dumbfounded. I thought there were going to be some nasty messages but not that sort of language.'

Before proceeding to read the messages aloud to David, Alissa said that she understood why Gia sent the messages to Juliette.

'I can understand why Gia felt the need to tell me why she sent these messages to Juliette because I didn't realise how bad they were,' she said.

As the offending messages were shown on screen, Alissa read them to a clearly disgusted David.

'Bec said: "Alissa is going f***ing down – rat b***h with her rat husband,' Alissa read.

She continued reading another message from Bec that suggested Alissa and David's relationship was 'fake'.

'I'm gonna go so f***ing hard on Alissa and her fake relationship,' the message continued.

Bec's unhinged rant continued, using a word to describe Alissa, for which Juliette herself was criticised during the couple's retreat.

'Bec said: "Alissa is going f***ing down ¿ rat b***h with her rat husband,' Alissa read

'You know what? Alissa probably isn't a bad girl, but her head is so far up her f***ing a***hole she doesn't even realise what a c***t she actually is.'

As David tried to process what he was hearing, Alissa continued: 'It gets worse. Bec then goes on to say: The only fake f***s in this place are those two a*** licking influencer wannabe c***s.'

Then it came time for the couple swap.

Before heading out, Alissa asked David not to mention the texts if he was paired with Bec, as she wanted a chance to confront her directly.

Unluckily for David, he was paired with Bec, who proceeded to bring up the issue almost immediately after sitting down.

While Bec claimed to take 'full accountability and responsibility' for the messages, she attempted to minimise their severity by blaming Gia for sending them.

'I am shocked,' David told producers. 'Bec is trying to make herself look like a victim. Am I in sleep paralysis right now?'

He managed to hold his tongue admirably until Bec claimed that she wasn't rude toward Alissa in the messages.

'In those text messages, I wasn't rude about you, I wasn't rude about Alissa. I was just talking about your relationship,' Bec claimed.

Wanting to stand up for Alissa, David then told Bec that the couple had seen her messages, and Bec's jaw almost hit the floor.

'I just want you to know we felt the comments were vile, disgusting and very mean and vicious,' David told Bec.

Panicking, Bec asked: 'How do you know what they were?' to which David flatly replied: 'We've seen them.'

David continued: 'At the end of the day those were very, very vile comments and I don't know how you had it in you.

'You can see for us now it looks like you're manipulating the situation to make yourself look like the victim.'

Speaking to producers, Bec doubled down on her assertion that the real villain in this scenario was Gia.

'What was the point in sending those messages? Why are you doing that?' she asked.

'You want me to be in trouble? I kind of feel sorry for myself because it's all coming down on me. It's just tiresome.'

Married At First Sight continues Tuesday at 7.30pm on Nine.
