Alan Carr has reportedly expanded his TV horizons and landed a new show on Amazon Prime Video.

The comedian and former chat show host, 49, has seen his star rise further since winning The Celebrity Traitors last year.

Having already secured deals with Disney+ and Netflix, Alan is now adding another non-BBC project to his plate.

This is in addition to a nine-month stand-up tour coming in 2027.

A source told The Sun: 'The Beeb is likely to be peeved for multiple reasons, the first being he had a huge boost on one of their shows but he hasn't announced anything new with them yet.

'Also they'd be forgiven for feeling a tad irked by the fact that he already has the Greek Job, Italian Job and Spanish Job renovation shows on the Beeb with his pal Amanda Holden.

'Now he's making another renovation show for rival Disney+. It even has a flavour of The Traitors too, as it all revolves around a castle.'

Alan's Netflix project is said to include Amanda, 54, while the Prime Video deal completes a hattrick of the major streamers.

The insider added: 'Now Prime Video completes the line-up of jobs with the big three streamers, and with their money and international audience it will be hard to come up with offers likely to tempt Alan back to do more terrestrial telly.'

Alan was a Traitor on The Celebrity Traitors, having been selected by Claudia Winkleman alongside Jonathan Ross and Cat Burns.

He bluffed his way to victory after tricking Faithfuls comedian Nick Mohammed and historian David Olusoga at the final hurdle.

Also coming up for Alan is Channel 4's Secret Genius, wherein he and Countdown legend Susie Dent discover the untapped intelligence of people in the UK.

He started filming the programme just a day after winning The Celebrity Traitors and told The Mirror: 'I'd gone from this judging, stereotyping. underestimation and there had been a lot of judging.

'You can't blame them because that's part of the game, isn't it?

'And then here we are, all these people who've been underestimated for their whole lives, by their family, by their employer, by their friends, by teachers.

'And I was like, 'Oh yeah, I sort of know how you feel really.'

'Then watching them grow and the doubt melt away. I mean, it was so lovely. It's a warm, fun show.'

It comes as Alan recently shut down speculation that he could become one of the new presenters on Strictly Come Dancing.

Long-time hosts Tess Daly and Claudia Winkleman announced their joint exit last year - with Alan and Amanda suggested as a potential new duo for the roles.

Speaking at a Q&A for Secret Genius, Alan revealed why he isn't interested in taking up the gig.

While acknowledging it would be 'an honour', he explained: 'I just think I like watching the show, I don’t love it.

'I think it would be better for someone who really, really loves it, you know?

'And they asked me all the time to be on it and stuff.

‘I just think, wouldn’t it be great to get someone fresh, someone new.

'That show is so adored and so loved. You want someone in there who’s like, “Yeah, this Paso Doble was…". I don’t give a s**t.

'Give it to someone else, yeah.’
