Britain's Got Talent fans livid as show is dealt a brutal blow by the BBC in primetime TV schedule shake-up
Britain’s Got Talent fans are not happy as the show will be dealt a brutal blow by the BBC in a primetime TV schedule shake-up this weekend.
The much-loved talent show returned to screens for its 18th series last month and has already aired two explosive episodes.
Saturday night's TV schedule is usually very tight, but with no clashes, meaning that everyone can enjoy their favourite shows in peace.
However this Saturday two shows will be on at the same time because of the Six Nations, when Scotland takes on Wales at 4pm.
The sports segment will wrap up at 7pm, meaning that Gladiators will now be on at the same time as Britain's Got Talent.
Gladiators usually airs between 5:45 and 6:45pm on BBC One, while Britain's Got Talent follows from 7pm on ITV.

Gladiators was on our screens between 1992 and 2000 on BBC, and was later revived in 2008 on Sky One.
The programme returned again in 2024.
That's not the only thing due to change this weekend - this Sunday ITV fans will be treated to a brand new morning show.
Loose Women star Katie Piper, 41 has landed her very own programme Katie Piper’s Weekend Escape, which will air from 8:30am on the channel.
